OK... who saw it...?
"It's Not Easy Going Green" on the rambler channel (BBC2).
Traded in his Audi Eurobox for a.... natty li'l Defender 90 cuz it was greener!
Collected and treated his own vegie oil to create his own bio-diesel.
Oh I can't wait to bump into an anti!
:(biglaugh): :(biglaugh): :(biglaugh): :(biglaugh):
So... thanks you Lt Col Dick Strawbridge!

Good on him for living down here in the south west. Such a lovely place to live.
Also for getting a landy. I couldn't belive his missis was moaning on how they shouldn't be getting a '4x4' and beliving that it wasn't greener than the car, to me she just showed the typical tarred with the same brush attitude we all get. "ohh it's just another 4x4 the are all gas guzzelers" Ohhh that annoys me.
But good old dick for sticking it out and convincing her that it is a good thing to have.

I believe they live near Tywardreath (http://www.multimap.com/map/browse.cgi?client=public&GridE=-4.69350&GridN=50.36010&lon=-4.69350&lat=50.36010&search_result=Tywardreath%2C%20Cornwall&db=freegaz&lang=&keepicon=true&place=Tywardreath%2C%20Cornwall&pc=&advanced=&client=public&addr2=&quicksearch=tywardreath&addr3=&scale=100000&addr1=)
Yes, it is nice (almost as nice as Yorkshire  )
I'd like to live on Burgh Island & have that beautiful ('Art-Deco' styled) Hotel as a private house.

Beautifull part of the country...there's a nice green lane near Boddinick....

They run green courses too.........

Part way down the page - Build your own biodiesel reactor !!!
Courses cost a fair bit, but I guess you could make savings in the long run - shame Td5's don't like veg oil
