What make did you use and was it any good?
-
not many on the market and they dont work to well and will only last a couple off days
is it for mot if so just clean the box up and tell them its a seconhand one if its not leaking to much u might get away with it
-
whack a splash of brake fluid in it, that should slow down or stop the leak, as it swells the rubber seals... then buy some gunk and thoroughly clean every last drop of ATF from the outside of the steering box....
job done.

I took the opposite approach and spilt loads of ATF on the box and cleared it up badly and was ready to say I'd had terrible trouble bleeding it last night ready for the MOT :)
In the event the small leak was totally ignored.

I used a stop leak product from the states. i cant remember the name, white bottle red writing. I bought 2 bottles at about £10 each.
Only used 1 and that was 18 months ago. Brilliant stuff.
I will look to find the name tomorrow

My mate is one of the seelers on E-Blag. It's reallt good stuff, we put some in a fork truck at his old place, it was p***ing out all over the place. We had to keep topping up until there was enough in there and then it stopped. That thing was utterly goosed too.
