What do you think of my next generation design light switch?

Oh, and I can do full beam too but it's a bit tricky.

When mine went it wasn't the switch but a break in the wiribg connector. Soldered it back and Bob's your mother's brother.

This is the second time it has happened.  The wiring is shot (brittle) and causes the connector and switch to overheat and melt.

This time a rewire with relays is imminent.  Vehicle Wiring Products here I come!!!

I agre with the relays. Shame they didn't spend a few more pennies and do that when built. I popped over to VWP with Kev Hobbit the other day. They also do some washer jets that clip on to the wiper arm and they have three jets. Similar to the ones on LDV trucks and they are brilliant for clearing mud off the screen.

Fixed a mate's breakdown truck at dusk one evening 'cos he was doing me a favour and moving a concrete garage (boy they are heavy).  Saw the same truck, a year later and after he'd sold it with the same 2 bits of wire hanging out of the dash for the headlights switch that I'd fitted that night.

My RRC screwed up its light switch, found a series 3, 2 position light switch, fitted that in, that was feb/march time I think, had to rewire all 4 sidelight units due to the short in the old switch box put a fuse unit inline & still going strong
