You need a computerised MOT to tax online but if you take all the stuff including the MOT cert to you Post office you can still tax it there

Should be no problem then; I generally do it at the post office just to help them keep the facility

I stopped using the local post office because they were so snotty.  The one in our village can't do tax disks anyway so I have to go to the next village.  Every year they sent me back for something, the emobosing wasn't clear enough, the letters aren't clear enough, your insurance cert runs out in a few days time.  Anyone would think they weren't making any money from me.

I do it on line, take 3 days to come :D

I have the total opposite; although I have to go to the next for car tax they must be the best post office staff in the country; they are exeptionally helpfull with everything.
This couple took over when the old lady retired, she had worked at the same counter until she was 65 having started there at 16, not many people do that!

I had the same at my Post Office - 'looks altered, can't make that out, mmnn not sure about this'..... etc. That happened 3 times, I simply left & went to main Post Office in town & they looked & issued tax with no problems.
I will use the online method from now on.
