Post by: mudplugger01 on December 21, 2006, 00:43:36
hi all
i bought a snorkle from paddocks about two months ago  and have destroyed the rubber hose that links the upper and lower parts of the snorkle...by fighting with a tree whilst offroading..
ive got in touch with paddocks and after three days humming and ahhring they now say they cannot help me with a relacement rubber pipe..
so my question to you guys and dolls is where can i get a hose real quick from as i dont really want to buy whole snorkle assemby

 cheers

is it just a straight piece of hose ? or shaped ?  you need like a automotive/industrial suppliers who sell rubber heater hoses

ive used some for the pipe that runs from body into air box cause you can only buy a replacement from Lr and its 40 quid!

Get away, I bought that from Paddosck for a few quid.  It's about the right size for a snokel thogh so I'd suggest one or two of those with some rigid pipe in the middle.

I can get heavy duty plastic pipe from work, its got a 50mm internal diameter. Would this be suitable for the main bit, or does it need to be bigger? (sorry for the slight hijack).

How long and what diameter? You might find you can use a steering rack gaiter of some sort. You'll need to get into a car accessory store and ask to look at a few.

I used a smaller one on the Suzuki. Works a treat.
