will only make a difference if you alter the pump to suit

I've got an Allards intercooler on my Disco but as Mikee says you have to increase the fueling on the injector pump for it to do anything.

Once done though then it makes a vast difference to the drivability of the vehicle.  :D

yeah no worries, i no about the fueling side as my brother has a allisport full length intercooler on his 300 tdi 90, It was more the intercooler its self is the allisport worth double the money?? or are you just paying for the name?

I think I have one of these on my disco, could not get on to their web site to have a look, but they are usually £200 at the shows (mine came from peterboro), Fitting was a bit tricky I made up some ally mounts four pieces of angle with rubber bushes on.  The bummer with fitting one of these is getting the intercooler pipes, as you need different shape and length of pipe's than the originals.  I have noticed a slight difference in performance It has improved the ability to go up hills without changing gear!
But I have not set up the Injector pump and turbo to suit yet.

The intercoolers are painted silver which the guy from straight forward supplies said they came like this eventhough they had asked the suppliers not to paint them, (probably because the ally grade is not as good as the other more expensive branded items).

Very tough, but no use if you have AC on your 200tdi!
