Anyone know how you can get the brass thrust washer/spacer thing off the back of the stub axle. the new one didn't come with it fitted and you don't seem to be able to order it as a seperate part.

Thanks

Go into the kitchen and steal the mrs best vegetable knife, the blade is thin enough to tap in the groove with a hammer and hey presto......broken knife, no I mean thrust washer off. Clean up the knife and put it back where you found it, deny everything and tell her you don't cook so how could it possible be you who broke it !!!

You7 can buy them, i got a pair from Paddocks but it might hlep to speak to Bob in the stores rather than the 'phones, helpfull as they try to be I get the impression they are all trainees and I have to train them.

I took the old ones out by drilling the brass then curling them out, took about half an hour each, totally destroyed them though which is not whet you wanted to hear I suspect.
