For 2007 I want to stop reading a newspaper on a Saturday.....Already managed to stop reading them during the week for the last 3 years.
To stop watching the TV news entirely, already got it down to 2 - 3 times per week.....It`s just the radio that catches me out.
The news is usually negative and not at all relevent to my life, so to entirely lose it from my life will be a good thing.
TV is nearly done with, I only watch stuff that I am interested in......And that aint much. :D

I am hoping to;
Find 'gainful employment'
lose a 'bit of weight'
tidy out the garage / shed
finish the 'little jobs' that need to be done on the off-roader
perhaps do a couple of the 'Shows' this year -( with the cost of a ferry trip as well, it makes an expensive day out)
Those are the main bits, there will probably be others!
Hope you all have a great year, whatever you do
Chris

im starting to make money to put torwards a landy for my 16th in july :D

I plan to do as much as possible to stop YDNPA from closing lanes in the Yorkshire Dales.
First hurdle is a public inquiry to attend at the end of Jan to try and stop the Anti's from getting the lane from Far Gearstones to Fleet Moss closed.
The BOAT claim was actually submitted by YDNPA themselves which came as a huge shock to me, but the Ramblers have stuck their oar in.

I'm starting a new job down in Devon
I'm really looking forward to it too
Unfortunetly i'll be commuting back home every weekend for a while.
The family will follow me down in the summer (Eldest Daughter has her GCSE's to do)

Play more in my disco oh and win the lotto as it must be my turn next year

Get the rangie kitted out, complete 2 parts of my first degree in criminology through the OU, attend muddy days out and keep a business running for the year!
-
New job, being a driving instructor doesn't pay very well.
Empty my dad's house and move in.
Lordy, one day I might even get Julie's Capri on the road.
More imediatley I'm best man in 2 weeks time and then I have an advanced driving test to get through.
-
For my health: ditch the ciggies, lose weight.
For my personal gratification: annoy anti's, convert my Disco to run on veg oil, improvr my knowledge of this country's breweries!
-
well due the fact of being made redundant at xmas (and personally for the second year running :( )me and two colleagues are going to venture into our own business with the view of manufacturing land rover offroad protection parts, and offering a reapir service too. :D

Going to be taking part in the MacMillan 4x4 UK Challenge www.mac4x4.co.uk that runs from 20:00hrs on Friday 9 March to 'teatime' on Sunday 11 March next year, raising funds for MacMillan Cancer Support.
So, ...... if anyone reading this wants to support us: www.justgiving.com/team20 you know the website!
Also, if any companies wish to sponsor our team and have their logo on my 1997 Disco1, then please PM me and we can discuss.

apart from needing to eat less  and lose a bit of spare tyre i,m seriously going to look at emigrating and do some serious research on the subject, canada is the destination of choice at the minute
failing that i,m going to attempt 101FC ownership :D
-
seriously need to lose a few stones (about 8  )- so any ideas for a trucker friendly diet accepted ;)
also need to sort out the house, and get our finances working for us rather than against us!

you musty be undercharhing then.. as the instructors around here charge between £15 and £25 an hour - and do 8/9 hours a day 6 days a week , one guy local to me does 11 hour days and 7 day weeks - charging £17 a lesson
-
more mods to the paj
providing sponsorship to the Mac 4x4
and decorating the whole house
-
I want to try and get to a few land rover shows too in 2007 as I never got to any in 2006 :(
-
Gonna flog the rangie! Something fast to drive around daily and an old landy to get muddy without worrying about scratched paint/dented panels. Makes more sense.
