im new to the site im wanting to start building my firt landrover series2a i built 1 with my bro last year and now i want 1 of my own, i thought id put a few pics up of my bros to see wot u think as im wanting mine verysimilar,

Lovely truck. Hope my old s3 will look like that when it is finished. SAT pattern tyres look so cool on a series 8)

Very nice truck there Tommy. Looks like that one is sat on a nice galvanised chassis too.

yeah its ex army so it wasnt regested till 72 thats wot im told any way

Hmm, unusual then. The MOD would keep a vehicle for more than three or four years, as the headlights in the wings were only introduced from 1968 with the 2A.
I dont know about last of the 2a or not, my first series 3 was an L reg.
I imagine there would of been a period of overlap, with the last of the Series 2A vehicles being built and then stored to cover the period while the factory prepared for the Series 3. Although there wasn't a lot of difference between the last of the 2A vehicles and the early Series 3...

Looks very smart and clean the way a rebuilt one should for a couple of days. Nice little blue one like that around my way was up for sale the other day for £2000 - bit older though I think.
