My Vit wouldn't have got stuck as many times

But at least he admits that it would help if he wasn't the most useless off-road driver.
-
Still think the funniest thing about that was that he left it on the top for the team to remove and flew of in a helicopter then realised he still had the keys :(bigshock): :smack:

The most alarming part of the whole video is the guy who's stood practicaly over the winch rope whilst it's being used to recover the Disco
I'm no expert, but I'd assume that if the rope were to snap, that bloke would very rapidly become two smaller blokes?

Interestingly, Mythbusters (Discovery Channel) recently tried to replicte this myth using various winch wires under various loads against a dead pig..
They didn't succeed until they wrapped a loop around the pig... one end anchored to a building or some such.... the other to their truck... then floored it!
Mythbusted... apparently...
Still... safety first and all that!
