Title: Td5 rear wiper motor

Just as thought, but is the rear wiper motor common to any other vehicle in the Rover group ? - a new one is many beer tokens, so I might take a trawl around the breakers !

Can it be repaired, mine was shot when I got it and after taking out of the door and onto the bench just found the main drive shaft was seized, much penetrating oil and some hammering soon free'd it and then got some emery cloth onto it and loads of grease and been fine ever since, unless you have burnt out the motor  :cry:

Unfortunately not  :( , especially since I don't have one fitted at the mo - being ex-leccy board, the rear window was blanked over from the inside, the loom and dash switches are there ready to go, just need the motor and arm etc  :roll:
