Have you guys seen the proposals for Biofuel declarations from HMRC ?
I suggest you get your comments in and help implement the changes :)

give us lazy gits a basic lowdown............. i aint reading all that! :P

Basically they are proposing to change the rules so that they will not bother with you if you make/use less than 2,500 litres per year.
No need to register or pay em :)
-
Oh please
free fuel?!?!?!
Fingers crossed

There has to be a catch? There has to be a catch right?
-
They are NEVER going to make it so you dont pay duty on fuel, never, not in a billion years!

Thay will if it cost's more to collect than it's worth like the dog licence

They will simply shift the onus onto you to ensure its right and in on time, then fine anyone they like when they like and check the odd one here and there - bit like the tax office....oh wait, they are the tax office
-
Unless you make more than 2500 liters a year no need for a return :D

That's the gist of it, it costs too much to check on how much you are using, so if you pay some tax they can't be arsed to check up on you, they'll go after people filling up with veg oil instead
Good news as I'm seriously thinking about it, I've got the space, I can get new veg oil at wholesale now all I need to get right is the chemistry
