Title: Alarm Problems

Hi All

Just had a desparate call from a friend of mine...

He locked his 1998 freelander using the remote when dropping off his daughter at school, and on returning it wouldn't unlock using the remote. He managed to get in using the key, but it won't start.

He thinks the remote might have got wet, and is going to try drying it out before trying again.

The main problem is that the vehicle's at his daughter's school, and he needs to be at work!

Any ideas?

Answering my own posts again...

Well, the hairdryer trick appears to have worked. It's back starting again quite happily.
