mines a classic tho' and thats a P38...proves mines a late 'un tho'!!

Nice looking but I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole even ignoring it's a p38.. though being a diesel is in it's favour.
The words "boat" and the presence of a slipway in the image conjure up images of a chassis wait to fall on the drive when you slam the doors in a couple of years time. Though of course I could be wrong.

DONT say that. .. have NO info on the vin plate apart from chassis No. and the log book says the No. is NONE TRANSFERABLE, also lists owners as 7 FROM 1994

I'm sure it's fine - just winding you up
You got it from someone on here anyway didn't you ? - my last classic had a lot of owners too - mind you it was a V8 and they tend to go through a lot of owners as not everyone is prepared for the fuel bills
Doesn't bother me though - I knew what I was getting into

NON TRANSFERABLE PLATE
So its had a private plate on, when they take the 'plate' off they re-issue the original plate if possible and mark it as 'non transferable'
So they can sell you a plate but if the one you get is any use you cant sell it
Mine says that, and now the car i took mine off has the original plate as 'non transferable'
Dont worry
