Got to fit my rear guards on the disco, they have a rubber mount that involves taping on, what do i use?
-
There is a proper fix that is available from body suppliers about £5 - £7 a tube (mastic size tube)
Other than that ask a carpet fitter what he uses if you need the tape
-
I think the stuff in the tube is Tiger Seal.

no more nails :?
just a thought, seeing as its holding my house up

As above Tiger Seal is the best, most motor factors will stock it.

VHB tape is about as strong as double sided tape gets, it's what car badges are often held on with an is usually associated with sign mountings so a local sign maker should be able to help you out, if not pm me and I'll see what I can do.

you can buy double sided trim tape designed to stick the bits on - just make sure the paint work is clean and it's not to cold when you do it
-
Stickaflex (sp?) generally sticks like s**t to a blanket on most things (including people... not that you`d want to glue a person to your motor... well you might, probably get into trouble tho...

Tiger seal, stickaflex or the proper 3M double sided body moulding tape. It won't seam that strong when you apply it but over a period of a couople of days (weather dependant) it sticks harder and harder.
