i have got a v8 disco that runs on LPG it has the tanks under the sills, i was thinking that if i did a 2" bodylift i could move the tanks up giving more clearance, ive done a bodylift on a suzuki sj before but i was wondering how difficult they are on a discovery and if there are any on line guides

Cheeky I now but can I PM you for a copy as well - particularly interested in any detail on moving bumpers up to match lift.
Thanks

The steering linkage has to lengthened weld and bolt (I have access to coded welders!!!)
Basicaually the following where issues for my lift
Transfer box lever needs extending I might yet do the gearbox one as well
I had to release the fuel filler pipe but went back on okay
The wiring above the engine needs to be released I made a spacer up
The Fuel filter needs to be dropped or the pipe from lift pump needs to be lenghthend (I dropped it as it cleared the clutch master cylinder better)
Rear bumper just needs a plate with a pair of holes the distance of the lift
Front bumper is a bit tricky if you have a steering guard fitted but fairly easy

... not being the best with a welder but handy with a spanner - does anyone produce brackets for the front and rear bumpers - or would somebody make me some for beer tokens????
Thanks
