Title: Unstable as they say? I think not!
Post by: Rich_P on January 17, 2007, 21:40:22
The contradicting lot display (http://www.dumpalink.com/videos/School-Of-Offensive-Driving-689e.html) how wrong they are about the drivel they tend to spout about 4x4s.  Unstable?  Clearly stable enough to manage a J-turn!  Furthermore, did I see that big 'unstable gas guzzler' do a power slide?  I believe so!

Shame they destroyed at least two Disco 2s.  But being left hand drive probably means they were cheap.

I was taught some of those moves, not in a 4x4, but a Ford Sierra. It is one hell of a giggle to do, especially if its not your car!

I have done doughnuts with the freeby along the M60. However, this was due to a blow out at 7o mph (ish)

not had the joy of doing any of that intentionally yet - no snow over here, or anything interesting like that.

i have ended up sideways around a sharp corner though once. hit a patch of slippy mud i think... back end right out. scared the crap out of the guy coming the other way
