I don't think I'd bother to be honest. Sell one, buy the other.
The list starts with :
Steering Box & Pipes
Steering Column
Dash Panel and Instruments
Wiring Loom
Pedals
Headlights
Brake & Clutch Lines
A number of engine ancilliaries
That's just off the top of my head... there will be many more bits to think about.
Hope that's useful

He's got a point. Whilst Landies are just big mechano and more things are possible than with most other cars you are going to get fed up with finding 'one more thing' that doesn't fit.
If you must convert the car you have then make friends with a local specialist breaker, try to swap or P/X your old parts (seats might fetch a good price as your RH seat should be in good nick) or hunt around for a scrapper that has say a wrecked engine or transimssion but is basically complete. Breaking the car and selling the bits you don't want might reduce the pain in your wallet, for example a friend was offered a '91 Rangie minus transmission/engine but including interior for £400. Sell both diffs and you're half way to break even.

If it is fitted with A/C and it is a 1989 up to 1994 model year (200Tdi generation of vehicles) I am interested for the complete A/C assembly.
Take care
