Title: Ladder
Post by: beggers on January 20, 2007, 17:50:45: Hi guys, does anyone know where I can get a full length ladder for the rear of my 300Tdi. I genuine Landrover ones aren't full length. The reason I want a full length one is to try and fit my Hi lift jack to it, has anyone done this already? A second hand one would do if anyone has one for sale.

Post by: Skibum346 on January 20, 2007, 17:55:41: Beggers... as far as I'm aware... there is only one ladder configuration for th Disco and it has 3 maybe four steps. Remember the bumper is treated as the first rung.

They fasten to the bottom of the tailgate under the number plate

I have a full length ally one, in unwrapped condition and as yet unassembled so is new.

Before Beggars takes it away i will take a few piccys and post.
Got it off Ebay to make it fit my classic Rangy(the one in my avatar) but sold the Rangie for my Disco.
Fitted an Eezi Awn roof rack which came with a ladder so dont need this one.

Post by: cardiff_gareth on January 25, 2007, 23:14:12: I thought that there was only 1 design, I have an original copy of LR accessories for the 200tdi and also the 300tdi and they only show 1 type of ladder. The high lift jack nornally sits on a bracket that goes onto the spare wheel carrier, thats where, to the best of my knowledge they go :?:

Post by: beggers on January 26, 2007, 18:33:24: The origional LR ladder is only 3/4 length. I wanted a full length one so I could make a mount for the jack. Will sort pics asap.
