....by getting rid of the roof rack, getting a light bar, adding the steering guard and chequer plating the top of the bumper.
The pictures show before and after (or should I say after and before, as I could not get them in the right order!! I like the changes, although at first I was n't quite sure.
If the passenger side headlamp looks a bit bright it could be because I dropped it on the drive when up-grading the bulbs - smash!!!!! lol Where do I get a replacement lens - local parts store or do I have to trail to the Land Rover dealer???

that looks loads better, where did you get the light bar from??
i made one but it just didnt look right.

...the white thing is (was?) a high powered spot light that the previous owner used when he went shooting. Bet it scared the cr*p out of the little bunnies !!!

HOW MUCH!!!!! you've been trousered mate for £12 each my local supplier does halogen conversions!
Normal sealed beam headlights are about a tenner a pair!

[Edited] u think i was implying he got? he just said he droped the light after fitting uprated bulbs :!:

Ignoring the arguement, the Defender looks very nice with your modifications. I do like the light bar.

Stick with it matey beginning to look the part. Like the steering guard.

Looking well better davidjmiller, we got our light bar from all 4 wheels. :)

Ok so went to 4 places today and the cheapest quote for the headlight unit was £25.
Its a near (passenger)-side NON-sealed unit for the 1986 V8 110. Anybody tell me where to get one for a tenner !!!???!!!
