Prise the LR badge out of the door (look carefully and you will see a small slot to put a screwdriver in) and use copious amounts of WD40 or equivalent on the linkages and gear inside.

This happened to me.

I was able to open it from the inside.

And then sprayed loads of WD40 and worked the mechanism until it felt smooth.

Hasn't hapened again and that was a year ago.

Does the door still line up OK.... if so it might just need a new door latch... saw them recently somewhere... flea bay maybe...

I tok mine apart as it wasn't opening from the inside (ambaressing when your testing a camper conversion that blocks access to the the front doors!)...

Bit of a clean, bit of a grease, bit of a swearing to get the buddy thing back on.... and bob's yer mothers sister!

I'm sure they employed oompah loompahs to get the darn thing in in the first place though!

Had the same problem with mine, which typically is also a 3 door commercial. Nice bloke down at the local main dealers quietly whispered in my ear about spraying WD40 in behind the LR badge. When that happened to me, I had pulled the handle in to open the rear door, and it just stuck in place, didn't spring back. The WD40 fixed it. But since then a couple of times I've had the door stick on me with the handle springing back into place as it should. Found that putting the key in and twisting it further into the unlock position works, so suspect it's the springs, as similar problems have cropped up on both the front doors. New set of springs on order from eBay, hopefully will fix it.

Hello by the way!

The WD40 trick works on the linkage itself behind the Lr badeg but if your still having problems then it may be that the door has slightly dropped. This is again as most things a common problem. Open your tailgate and then holding onto the grab handle and the other handle see if you can lift the door, almost like a rocking action. If there is movement then you need to replace the actual door hinges, I think they are about £20 - £30 but not too sure.

Is the striker hitting the latch properly as these can be adjusted also.

Mine has just decided to not let me in anymore, will try the WD40 behind the badge.

I had the same problem, and was told about the WD40 trick, only thing i would add is to push the plate (the bit you pull on to open) forward before spraying the WD40, worked a treat.

Good Luck

Typical, was all ready to attack it armed with some WD40 and a screwdriver and the bloody thing opened!
Still took the cover off and gave it a good soaking.
Just need to sort the spring now.
