You'll have to cut out the rusted section and weld a patch over the hole. It will have to be a fully welded patch for an MOT. Then drill new holes for seatbelts and refit.

Martin,
What mounts have gone :?:
The mounts for the receivers in the floor pan or the mount for the actual seatbelt located by the rear door as you open it :?:

might be worth weling in or patching the area then welding in a thicker back plate for strength. The plate doesnt have to be huge but will give you more peace of mind.
Have a look at the plates they sell for mounting harnesses only about an inch and a half square.

Thanks for your help will now look in to welding plates on

Hopefully you have enough floor to weld to with out a 1 foot square patch
Good luck!

the MOT place we got to did this repair on my Dads disco, the plate was about as big as a postcard, and they charged him £40 to do it...
