Title: Drivers door drop glass?
Post by: winx on January 30, 2007, 23:38:45
Just taken my door panel off my 200tdi to see what the rattling is, turns out the channel that the window sits in it rusted out and sitting in the bottom of the door

When you buy new drop glass does it come with the channel attatched or is it part of the regulator aseembly?

You should just be able to get the channel and new rubber, if not the have look around the scrapyards and see if you can find one, that's what I did.

Just looked it up in the parts manual and the parts you need are available on their own.

These are the part numbers and descriptions:

MUC2322 - Channel - front door glass lift
MWC2941 - Channel Locating
MUC2325 - Glazing Rubber - 5.0mm

I had to replace my channels last year.

Its not to hard a job. I took it slow and I think it took me a couple of hours to do both sides.

If you PM you email, Ill send you the instuctions I was given when I did mine.

Cheers
