Im Back!
After selling my 1976 Series 3 last year ive just got a 1972 Tax Expemt 109 full canvas tilt series 3. PIck her up on sunday all being well. With a LDV diesel engine in and some toys on her already.
Needs a lick of paint and an mot and thats it. Was rebuild 4 years ago so she cant be that bad.
Cant wait to get her on the road ready for when the lanes open and get her muddy.

Carl

I saw that on ebay. Have you actually seen the Landy up close? It seems to have taken a bit of a battering since being rebuilt

Hi, glad to hear you like it. Hows it is going? I cant believe someone has said it has had a hard life, it is a Landrover they are supposed to have a hard life arnt they? they are all built to go off road. :D

Seriously that was my fav off roader and spent many years looking after her, she did have a few battle scars but that is a good thing means it wasnt just rebuilt to drive on tarmac.

The old owner.

I notice the wires from the front of the wing to the top of the windscreen are these for branches? If so how are they fixed and are they legal for road use?

As far as im aware. As the base coat for the car will be green and this will also be the main colour of the car. I dont think you need to change it from green. I will look into it and let ya know when the time comes to hide her in paint.
