Post by: locknut on February 03, 2007, 22:51:06
I'm fitting a light bar on my defender....question is where do i run the cables from, do i run them down the side of the snorkle and put them through the upper wing corner or do i drill through the side of the windscreen panel and run them down and behind the dash ? :?

what about sending the wires under the door seal and into the cab that way? Then you won't have to drill any holes in the body work and the wires will be inside the cab.

Just a thought. Thats what i did with the CB ariel wire. Works a treat, and no holes

i ran mine down the snorkel and under the bonnet, theres enough of a gap between the bonnet hinge and the bulkhead.  Then can run them through the bulk head into the cab.
