Motoring magazine show with Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond. Jeremy makes a public information film, James drives quickly and all three get thrown off a golf course in a riot of bad driving and appalling trousers. Simon Pegg is the Star in a Reasonably Priced Car.

I too watched Hugh Grant and Captain Slow in a Buggati Veron. Must be a regional thing as them 'up north' seem to have different TV!
But did anyone notice how we were 'short changed' on tonight's episode, I reckon it was a full 8 minutes short of the full hour?
-
Ere no,them oop north (well as far North as merseysideshire) all seemed to have watched the right prog (veyron/Hugh "tosser" Grant) what happend to the 31 T**ting the Renault espace,I was there when they did it although some distance away as the security guy wouldn't take a bribe but I did hear the bang (very sickening noise to) and saw the aftermath, nowt much left of the car just the floor pan but dont forget the Espace was predomanently made of plastic and it was done for telly
P.S Jezza Clarkson cant wheely a mountain bike as I watched him trying :D :D :D :D

Wear some very warm clothes the aircraft hangars are freezing, and the filming usually takes 5 or so hours!

I got to meet Jay Kay! for jamiroquai, and when we had a break i got to see him put his renault spider across the grass doing some damage to the front spoiler.
-

Ruddy typical!!!!!!!!!
I can't watch Top Gear because a programme about horses is on!
Put them all in a tin!
-
well that was top tv watch for complaints on chainsaw however the robin was fantastic
Dazza
-
That was fantastic! Top gears just getting better and better. 8)
Love that 911 twin turbo
...oh and the robin shuttle
-
Despite the fast cars being driven very quickly around the track and the attempt to put a Reliant Robin into space, there was one fundamental screw up........
They moved the Defender and all the other off road designed 4x4 vehicles into the uncool section on the cool wall.....
what is that all about???? I didn't see them moving the 4x4 sports cars as well!!!
Have Top Gear succumbed to what appears to be massive public pressure and are they now going to be extolling the virtues of the Prius etc???
I certainly hope not, Mind Jeremy did almost salvage some of the respect that I lost for the show in that section by saying he would now buy a Rangie.
Ok, rant over...
-
That robin shuttle was great!
-
Not happy bout moving the defender............. Hammond didn't even put up a fight! Maybe he'll get his own back next week!
-

Prob best idea..... Jezza had a chainsaw.....
Guessing he had read the script
-
the "space shuttle" was tops
But , Yes were a tad miffed thet the defender hs been moved
-
Ok, I'm guessing it wasn't delayed in England then? Stupid Welsh Open snooker was on here, and Top Gear has only just started :(
-
OK hands up, who bought a defender just beacuse someone else though it was 'cool'?
Personnal i think its not a bad move.

I suspect the bbc 'thought police' have been at the producer/directer.
-
It seems the Loco hitting the Espace on the crossing was pulled at the last minute because a couple of kids in a car got hit on one days before so it was a mark of respect but I believe they are still going to show before the end of the series

I thought it was due to the Inquest being held (during the week of planned broadcast) on the 2 schoolgirls who were struck whilst crossing the line & trying to catch a Cambridge(?) bound train to go shopping last December.
-
Ah Richard,I stand corrected ,I new It had something to do with a level crossing incident, chinese whispers and all that
