I woke up this morning and looked out of the window. What did we have SNOWWW !!!! Well that`s it everyone drives round doing 20 mph. A bit of snow and the country goes mad.
-
I wonder if the 6 inches of snow will be near me? Mind you 6" isn't worth issuing a Weather Warning - it's a normal snow shower
Better charge the batteries for the camera

I was about to say "same here" but you're not far down the road from me.

I've not heard them say heavy snow to be fair, just a serious chance of disruption, which roughly translates to Ramblers in Moggy miners clogging up the roads for propper cars.
We live on a bank on a bend... must remember to put a tape in the CCTV, always interesting to see how much father the lamp post across the road will be knocked before they straighten it.
I reckon a couple of inches soon to be polished by eeejits with supposed traction control Beemers and the like.
Went to Lapland at Christmas, they just take it in their stride.
-
I will guarantee that there's not going to be any significant snow here in North Yorkshire.
I got Jess (my quad) back on the road last weekend (after a 6 month break). It'd be too much good fortune for snow to come now.
-
Ooh yeah baby! Bring it on!. I've got a tank full of diesel, a winch, a tow rope, new tyres on and an urge to stick my fingers up at all those self righteous antis!
"Oh, I'm sorry, is that your bean powered car stuck in that snow drift?"
"Like, yeah, man, and I really need to get to my 'Save the Ant' rosehip tea and tofu morning"
"Would you like me to pull you out?"
"Like, yeah, that would be cool"
"You would like me to pull you out, but I'm not going to, sucker!"
-
Great, snow forecast and Blue decides to dump PAS fluid on the drive. It wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't the piep I had replaced just before Christmas
-
I've got a tow rope in the back of the Zuk, perhaps a bit of extra cash will be earned
Hope it comes thick and fast...
-
Im working night tonight :( But i shall be on the look out for the first few flakes to fall :D And get home in time to play in it
-
Typical Rangie has a bust front diff, might be fixed by weekend!
See if I can steal the Frontera-persuade SWMBO to work from home!
-
I dought we will get a blanket covering if we do get snow. Last year there was no snow (certainly none setalled) at college one day, but driving just 5 miles west, there was more than enough to cancel a model car race meeting, at which point the organisers were left with a couple of trailers in a field and every other 4x4 disapeared home before the snow got too deep [-X .
What can i say, I had to stay. Even if it was just to pull trailers off a feild it was still off roading on virgin snow leaving nice MT patterns behind me.
-
I just hope the temperature holds up a bit. Was -9 this morning where I was. Managed 1/2 mile and 3 locks in 2 hours. Gave up when the ice got to the best part of an inch thick.
It was -14 up at the summit level.
Just hoping the cloud will start coming in soon.
