A TD5 Disco one will, once you've changed the transfer box flange.

It's "Double Cardan" BTW.  :D

Not wanting to upset the apple cart but isnt a Td5 one a bit shorter than a D1 prop.
I just fitted what i think is a TD5 prop to my Disco and i had to lenghten the prop by 50mm.
In the March LRO on page 208 they do the same thing, but fit it to a 90.
The 90's prop is 670mm 30mm longer than a D1

Smart @rse.

Wizard,
The one on my Disco is a Genuine Parts front prop, Devon 4x4, and is part No TVB000100. It's flange to flange lengths are: 653mm at it's longest and the shortest is 615mm.
IIRC it is from a TD5 Discovery, not a Defender, although Tim maybe able to help with that.

[Edit] Just Googled the part No and Paddocks have it listed under Discovery 2 (1998-2004) as "Front Propshaft - TD5 to 1A715923".

Hi Budgie
I was just thinking about this, would the 110 defender prop and the D2 Disco prop be different lenghts ?

The one i bought was from a  110 V8 but was still a bit short even with the flange fitted.

Could well be, they have a different chassis, engine and gearbox layout so there's every chance that the length will be different.
Is the TD5 engine longer that a V8? If so then the gearbox would be set back further, as will the T-box so the from prop would have to be longer.
