Title: Safari Snorkle Fitting -300 TDI on 200 TDI
Post by: Telaren on February 10, 2007, 23:08:46
Hi

I have a 200TDI Disco.

I have been offered a 300TDI safari Snorkle.

As far as I can see the only differance is the actual fitting from snorkle to air intake.  The snorkle looks identical

How easy would it be to convert  or hash something to fit?

Relatively easy, as long as you can make the snorkle water tight from the end of the snorkel to the air intake with runner hoses, silicone sealant and jubilee clips. The snorkel may end up being drilled behind the aur filter housing as I know the snorkle on the 300TDi is slightly longer.

Will have a look in morning where it joins to air box.

How much longer is it?  :?

Cheers
