I have seen these threads and they seem to be popular so I thought I would have a go!!
What do you drive at work, c'mon lets have pictures of your vans, trucks, company cars etc!!
I'll start u off....
I drive Trucks (all sizes), Buses and Coaches. My avatar is of a mate of mine's truck (he had about 6 all similar), I fitted it out with extended skirts and stay bright aluminium tread and some stainless bits and I got to take it to Truckfest last year!!
-
got a choice of two
an '05 golf 2.0tdi
and a 56 passat estate tdi (i can run faster)
neither are worth bragging about but the golf has great acceleration
-
Managed to get some pics of the truck!!
-
well for my work car look left,
i also have the missfortune to drive a 56 reg 17 seater transit minibus the one with the not so fast engine and gear box it really is a gutless wonder at 60mph its already on just over 4000 rpm its not much better than the ldv it replaced - no one ever consults me other wise i would have said the 2.5 fast engine and the 6 speed gear box - however the boss drove it the other day to devon and now hes talking about replacing it !
i was thinking iveco - any opinions ?
we also have a 03 reg citroen relay 17 seater which can hit 120 mph found this out going through germany a couple of years ago but not with childreen in. but it does make my e reg 90 look reliable, it has to date burnt out 3 clutches and had 4 engines and its only done 58,000 !
-
I drive a V8 110 pick up for work
-
My work ride is a SWB Transit.
Nothing special until you compare it to the old Iveco it replaced.
With the amount of points on my licence it's plenty fast enough

I drive an 8 parallel-drawered, mahogany-effect vaneer, 1980s, aluminium framed, heavy weight and distressed DESK.
It goes like stink, but i'm looking for an upgrade :D
-
Well, it's not a truck, car, bus or Landy, but this is what I used use for work...

Not one but 2 5 litre V8 engines that are good for a few hundred horse power, top speed.....
......13mph, and I do get to drive it sometimes, try to avoid doing that though coz there aint a drivers seat.
Before I worked on them, this was my work horse
(http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e266/bsteve101/beachedatarromanches.jpg)
When I return to the real world at the end of March, I'll be partly responsible for one of these..
I'm envious of my cousin though, this is what he's using for work at the moment
(http://i167.photobucket.com/albums/u127/squaddiefox/DSCF0018.jpg)
Don't know much about it apart from it has a cv12 Rolls Royce engine and will go further off road than anyones Landy....

Mine isn't as nearly as comfortable as this one looks though!! I am only a temp after all!!
It has 2 foot drive and bottom of shoe shoe brakes and can point in any direction at any moment in time  you can also adjust the ride height depending on the difficult terrain (desks) ones legs need to get under!!!

It replaces an escort van which was a complete tortoise. This is still no racing car but far easier to live with.

We're getting the S92 up here later this year when CHC taken over the contrct. Looking forward to the extra range, speed and space compared to the S61N.

How's Kiwi?????
S-92.......you're welcome to it for a couple of years  Iron out the creases! Not sure we'll see one in Dublin......may be the 139!
-
If by Kiwi you mean Neil, he's down in Solent now, moved a couple of years ago.
So you'll be our crew while our lot plays in the S92 simulators over in the US then. I hope you bring the weather with you!! :D
We'll have to meet up, show you the sights, bit of off-roading and bring the fishing gear if you do any, nice salmon river in Stornoway that's got a cheap daily rate!!
-
Fairly often drive the 6 ton dumper, every now and then the LDV convoy, which is like a shed on wheels. Sometimes a mini-mini digger, but never the New Holland NH95 JCB-style digger, we're not allowed to touch that!
-
Mine float

-
I get to drive those too! Do that in the evenings. Maintenance is a pain in the backside, having to flush the fuel lines through weekly. Also very very sensitive to the quality of fuel, get complaints if you don't run it on premium stuff!
-

in the disco monday till thursday and saterdays
on the kubota on fridays
