Driving home tonite the front diff s***t itself and locked the front wheels solid, came of bit of a shock in traffic, managed to get it home lucky i was only a mile away, low box and 10mph, did know the diff was on its way but hey, at least i know which diff it was making the horrible noise!!!! :) the pinion bearing is totally seized and has opened up the diff casing like a banana, oh well job for the weekend :roll:

You don,t have much luck do you. I remember another one when i walked through the tunnel into the work shop at stafford to see a 3 ft tower of burning petrol from your cossievan the coil earth out on the high pressure braided fuel hose when you had the front end bump. Save the van but never got a thank you in the magazine ha ha ha
But ha you can repay me :wink: :wink: :wink: :wink:

Oh yes i remember that, didnt think you were serious when you shouted "mick your vans on fire" but it was, only a slight burn under thew bonnet, thank god the cosworth lump was ok !!!!! :oops:
