This is a good offer. However, to get a better reception hows about you fill us in on your background, how you know "your engines" etc.

P.S - Using full words over txt speak is a great advantage too ;)

It'd also be very useful to know where you are in the country, you might be great with engines but live on an island off the coast of nowhere which would be of no help to anyone except seagulls or possibly budgie's.

Attention to detail, judging by the above, is not really your forte then.

Only joking mate, I know of quite a few semi decent mechanics that havent got a clue how to spell.

I think it's a great that a new members wants to come up and offer help to a group of people he doesn't know.

I also, however, think it's an absolute disgrace that some members decide it's easier to bait to the guy than to say anything constructive.

If folk can't be nice about this then the heavy hoof of moderation may have to be called for, and none of us want that.

Cheers

From the info page of the club - Quote

"Mud-Club members have varying degrees of talent when it comes to driving off road. However to them the challenge and the pleasure that comes from challenging themselves, chatting to friends, and taking the mickey out of each other. The club is not overly competitive, nor is it overly serious. Light hearted humour (and the odd toilet joke) is by far and away the order of the day."

Agree with you Matty, I never realised that RaceLad was so tetchy or took things to heart so easily. Good job we all don't take his stance. I thought that putting the smiley faces and all that may have just given him a little indication that it's not serious (maybe they mean something else in text speak??)

If I have offended you RaceLad then I apologise. But take a chill pill bruv.

It's a shame several people aren't treating this whole thing in the way you'd expect from Mud-Club's ethos, despite Eeyore's comments.  I'd suggest now would be a good time to think about when to shut up.
