Hi there, i have managed to damage 2 tyres and am just off to see if they can be fixed.
If not i shall get a set however,
I have established that i will get BF Goodrich muds however have a standard 300tdi 5 door and am unsure what size to go for.
I have already removed the lower front corners and would love to get 245-75 16.
I would not like to remove any body work, although i would be wiling at max to remove a small amount of the back corner. I would rather not do a full camel cut.
Will i get away with this? I would really not like to have to start adjusting steering stops, or having it rub on full articulation as the vehicle virtually lives off road so articulates alot.
Thanks for your replies,
Chris

Have a read of the Tyre Fitting Guide, which is a 'sticky' at the top of this particular forum page, it'll give you a few pointers

I have fitted 245/75 Kumho MT on my standard height disco, I found that when I tested the articulation the rear arch fouled the tyre. I did a half Camel ( only whent back an inch) and that provided plenty of clearance. Dependant on what wheels you have you may need to do the front steerinfg stops, but mine did not require adjustment.
