Title: auto gearbox repair kits (zf 4hp22)

does anyone no where, that sells an overhaul kit for the zf 4hp22 gearbox???

the only placies ive found are in america and they dont seem to be replying to emails????

and ive already tryed ashcrofts but they seem quite dear!!!!

damb rite i am..... im not paying £700 for a recon one when i can give it ago myself!!!!!!

ive rebuilt everything else on the disco so y not the gearbox

the only time mycars have ever stepped into a garage is when its having the MOT done  :wink:

dont worry ill be taking loads of pics of how the work goes on

HAHA i wish you luck cos ur gonna need it :lol:  :lol:

there is a reason a rebuilt box is £700 as you need to set up the flow rates & shuttle valves to work correctly along with the spool valves

i know how an auto works & TBH id happily leave it to the professionalls :lol:
