Not sure where to get one from but my truck
has a grease nipple fitted
so they must be avalable.
I dont see why you couldent
tap and insert a nipple to a plain one.

I changed mine just before chrimbo. It was from Paddocks and had a Grease Nipple. I drill and tap and fit nipples to all my steering ball joints now too. :)

Does it have to be stripped to drill and tap it and if so how do they come apart.

They have the nipple at the top. If you can get a drill above the ball joint then fine. I had mine off already to change it.

A right angled drill would be handy. :)

I've been wondering about that, because it is one of the maintenance items in the landrover manual, and I looked and thought.....what grease nipple there isn't one.
