Anyone know where abouts the glow plug relay is on my p38
Cheers Rob

According to the Electrical Troubleshooting Manual it is relativly large and located next to the main relay next to the ECM.
Does that help?

ok thanks ,but where is the main relay and the ECM :?

From memory I the engine ECU sits vertically in a closed plastic box immidiatly behind the battery, I think you have to take the battery cover off. Have a look around there and if you can't find it I'll have another look at the manual.

Not wishing to be a smart arse but can you trace the thick wire that is connected to the middle/first glow plug, that will make its way back to the relay or get a mate to turn the ignition on and pop your head under the bonnet and listen for a loud audible click, that might give you a clue to its where abouts, thats if it is a mechanical type relay

Tracing wires on that engine is a nightmare. The loom is very well made and neat but hell to follow a wire.
I know the Engine loom plugs into that box by a big round multiplug on the inside of it so it is a good place to look anyway.

May well use someone to listen for it as it does make quite a noise (when it comes on)
