I ended up taking the whole lamp out of mine once to do exactly the same thing! Drove me MAD!

thats what we eneded up doing - but there was a seat bracket right by the wing nut for the top bracket that holds the lens on!

AAAAH HAAA --- welcome to the clan of the bruised n cut fists disco owners club :lol: :lol: Some how its not one of those jobs that gets much easier either, But its so much easier to remove the whole cluster and bulbs secondly. Would also be easier if my arms had a few extra bendy bits in um :lol:

When I worked at Ford they used to take cars apart in the workshops, design special tools and write the technical manuals from first hand experience. If it was too difficult then things got rediesigned. It's a practice that seems to have been abandoned by many manufacturers :?
