I just had the P38 converted to LPG by a company that advertises on ebay. They are local to me so I thought that I would use them. They are all polish guys. Fantastic service and a fantastic job. Multipoint system all in £1350! Thats a good price considering the parts would cost close to a grand or more.
I was told to collect it at 9.30 last night but they were having some minor tuning probs so he took me home and I said I would collect after work today. 7.45 this morning there was a knock on the door, it was the fitter with my car all sorted! He had worked on it till 3 am, then got up at 6 for a test drive and refuel then delivered it to me so I could take it to work! I was amazed!
I have driven 150 miles today and it cost £17 in gas! That was driving at 80-90mph most of the time. I am very happy and would reccomend these guys to anyone. I still cant believe he was knocking my door at 7.45 this morning!
If anyone is interested here is one of thier ebay auctions. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/LPG-Autogas-Conversions-in-South-Wales-HALF-PRICE_W0QQitemZ330044009014QQihZ014QQcategoryZ18308QQcmdZViewItem

That's cool, what system is it and how many liters did £17 buy you?

altough I don't want gas, its good to hear of good service in any industry, wish they fitted engines and were more local.

Just thought I would update this post.
After running the P38 on this Gas system for just over a week and covering over 1000 miles I must say that the RR is now a toy I can use without feeling like a pauper when I glance down at the MPG!
The Gas system works fantasticly with no noticable power drop at all, I have had no issues with the install at all and have had the car on a ramp and looked at the installation myself and its all neat and tidy. The underbonnet installation looks almost factory.
Overall I am impressed, I have been averaging about 18mpg on gas, about 75% motorway driving doing just over the speed limit (sometimes a little more) and not really caring about being lightfooted.
This car is now cheaper to run than most normal saloons on petrol.
The only issue I have is the LPG guage, it is not accurate at all but then they never are.
