any idear as to what this machine is/does ?
its about one and half ton in weight and has two water cooled rollers that are adjustable for gap.
and the only way to feed anything into it is through the top

Looks similar to a rock crusher I saw driven by steam engine at Eastnor Castle once.
They were laying a new gravel track with it using old house bricks... machine did the crushing.

I think the biggest clue is in the water-cooled rollers, although I'm none the wiser!

I have revised my last guess of something to do with steel production. Having taken a closer look at the state of the machine I think it may be from my local McDonald's - probably a burger launcher.
