Well after a load of messing about with templates etc finally managed to get the headlights to fit my commercial. The fit is not absolutely perfect, but then there isnt a front bumper for them fit into...

Looks smart
You'll be needing some silver indicator bulbs now though

its a pig of a job init.
youve done a good job by looks of it.
-
cheers! Yes was a pain to do but well worth it now I can see at night!
Silvertech bulbs will be coming, but going to take the indicators apart first and spray black to match the headlights.

I've been thinking about doing that too
Post back on here to let us know how hard it was and, of course, show us a picture

Looking at doing the same thing to my 200 as think the single candles are giving up and it would be nice to see again at night on dip beam. So how hard was it to do and did you need to do much fabraction to the front of the disco.
thanks

Well I am using some piaa 100w bulbs from one of our rally cars, seem pretty good and seeing as it is the advan piaa rally team they were free!!
The conversion was a pain to be honest. I actually ended up cutting the backing plates off a scrap 300 and riveting them in place.
I tried with templates, but the big problem of ones copied from other people was getting the print size right. If anyone wants them they are more than welcome to the templates, but need to work out a way of printing them the right size..

I now use IPF hi power bulbs in my Td5 headlights

They are much brighter than the standard bulbs and you dont have to change any wires to make them work.
I have since updated my headlight wiring loom to one of these

Now they are even brighter!!
Cars coming the other way keep flashing me as if my headlights are on full beam...then i give them a blast of the main beams to inform them of their mistake

I have been having the same problem that last few nights!!
Tried to open up one of the indicators yesterday to tint them, but unfortunately I think they are plastic welded and so the lenses melt before the join does
Going to have a look at cutting them in half to tint, but not entirely sure it will be possible. Otherwise have thought about using tinting spray on them... We shall see!

Erm, that would be because they are illegal and not very responsible to be dazzling other road users.
Why hot get 55w/100w bulbs, your dipped beam then remains legal and you wont dazzle anybody but you have 100w for main beam.
