If you remenber i help a young girl who got stuck in the snow a few weeks ago.
Well she just popped around to our house (she live not to far from me) and insisted that i have a crate of guinnes as a thankyou.
Well i was not expecting that, as i only helped her as others would not and she been stuck for a while untill i turned up.
Just been talking to her with my wife and its funny as she works at a place i do part time work for (driving buses).
Oh well i through i will pass it on, as she said if it was not for me in my landrover she would have not got home that night.
Here to my first drink from the crate.. :(biggrin):

It is a wonderfull fealing when that happens (or something similar). Sort of makes the human race not look so bad after all :-)
Last summer on my way home from work I stopped to help a guy in a 90. He said he was just waiting for his younger brother to come help him and was hoping he could get it started as they didnt have a tow rope. I gave him one of mine out the back of my 90 and gave him my name and address when asked so he could return it.
Next day got home from work to find my tow rope and a bottle of wine. Honestly didnt expect to see the rope again.

Is she a stalker   But on a serious note its good when someone makes the effort to say thanks, I recently dragged a motor from out of a flooded railway bridge in our village, and the guy came back with some beers (just a shame i dont drink though  ) but it was rude to refuse :D

I recently dragged a motor from out of a flooded railway bridge in our village,
Looking at your location I think I know which bridge it is. Is it the one at the bottom of the hill just after a builders yard on the left and then a sarp hair pin under the bridge and then a bus company on the right by any chance?

No, but the pub there (beech arms) does a wicked carvery and during the week its £3.50 a meal, Any how the road this particulary bridge is runs from just down the road from the duck pond and comes out by the A30/M3 interchange
