fancy fitting some buckets seats into my D1 off roader, anyone done this.
im interested in the sub-frames are there any on the market for a straight swop over but keeping the tilt and slide.
theres plenty of cheap seats on eblag that share the same fittings as the more common seats makers cobra omp etc so you can buy the cheap seat then use a cobra subframe, but they only do them for the more common cars (boy racer cars)..
cheers

i put buckets in one of ours, its a doddle.
just used a piece of 50mm x 6mm strip and drilled it to bolt to the origional base (3dr), and then the new seat runner.
1 each side and there you go.

I've got an old pair that I bought orthe Series - too deep front to back so no use to me - £20 if you want em H - (and I'll even drop em round your side of the tunnel)

I did mine with a sheet of chequer plate bolted straight to the existing runners, you will need a torx set to get the original seat out but like Guardian said a doddle. By the way Guardian my rock sliders arrived this week and they look the muts nuts thanks!

James you've not added your new rocksliders to your list of goodies!!

I need to fit 'em first!
Snug! - I'd need a large jar of vaseline and crow bar for bucket seats!
