Went out for a drive while I had nothing better to do!
Aston Cantlow, depth gauge reading 4ft and pretty fast flowing. Needless to say, didn't get any closer to that one.

This is Hill Wooton, about 10 inches deep in front of the bridge. Over the other side a bit over 2ft deep i'd guess.
Made some beer money pulling an Alfa out of there last night. It rose significantly overnight and just as I decided against it this morning, a Peugeot 406 appeared from the other side, stopped, was spun round to face the other way and pushed to the side of the road by the flow! I'd imagine its still there.

Its a teaser because before the bridge looks fairly harmless, then when your on the bridge you can see the other side, which is about 1ft deeper and fast flowing. But you don't want to reverse back through the first bit...and there is no room to turn around.
Probably do-able in a Landy if you have some balls at its current depth.
Didn't get a picture of the other side because I didn't want to go through it and there was a police car blocking access from the other side.
And the Kenilworth Ford, which is about 8 inches deep and most people are going through it. Should get interesting later tonight though!

I drove through Hill Wooton flood about an hour ago. Looked a bit scary in the dark! I think it's gone a foot since Saturday when the car you mentioned floated away. The guy was quite lucky- only the trees at the side of the road stopped him from being swept into the main river with possible disasterous consequences. Two tow trucks turned up but wouldn't go in to get the car, it was recovered by tractor in the end. Quite correctly the police closed the road. I'm surprised Hill Wooton doesn't get a mention here:

if it floods regularly? Can I suggest you submit your photo and report as a 'temporary ford' to Lee at Wetroads. Looks like Hill Wooton is one to keep an eye on! And it's close to my house too.
Kenworth ford was up to the 2 foot mark again an hour ago- remarkably we have had a double flood peak here Warks this weekend. The waters rose on Saturday morning and are on the rise again now Sunday p.m.

The Avon on my way to work in Evesham this morning was V high and has breached its banks, driving down the dual track was like looking at the sea!

Churchover Ford Rugby, Warks....drove past at lunch time for a look. Someone had a disaster there on Sunday- Pugeot 106 tried to go through at 3+ feet! The water here flows very fast (it's called the river Swift for a reason!). The car got swept off the road and is now wedged against the footbridge.

Depth post seems to be a bit out as well, looks a bit more than 2.5ft to have the hole front end under water maybe, but the waves give away the stength of t in there, will have to pop to the Headley ford and see who is stuck in that this week now

Better pickings over at new mill ford probably!!! At least you have quiet a few to choose from around your way. I can think of about 6 right now.

Could be busy tomorrow then
Need to go towards Wokingham as well, via Newbury, and the other one that I can't remember the name of near Sindelsham
