had same problem after fiting recon box, turned out to be a nut that conects the gear leaver to the box under the turret it had worked loose and made gear change very dificult ,tightend it up and it worked a treat

I had that on my r380. Reversed out of someones drive and it all locks up on me. Freed up again. About a month later it did it again, my landy man took it away, stuck a new gearbox in for free. When he took the box apart, some wire type retainer had broken and was lying across the teeth.
