right parking my 1984 land rover 90 with manual steering is becoming a pain in the rear (well arm's actually ), it's fitted with a 200tdi from a disco and i wish to fit power steering.
anyone know what parts i need to do this ?
-
u still got the disco?
need a disco pump,4 bolt box & pipe work
-
What Mikee said. :D
Easy job, just unbolt the old steering box and bolt the new one in place. If you use a pump from a 200 TDi the mounting wont be a problem and just mount the reservoir near the rad and secure the pipes to the front chassis crossmember.
Bleed the system and job done!
I did it on my 90 using a Rangie PAS kit but I had to make a bracket for the pump as I had a Ford 3ltr Essex engine fitted.
Oh happy days when job is done though!! \:D/

nope
a 300 is different to a 200 & disco 200 is different to a 200 defender
