Title: fitting rivnuts without a tool?
Post by: vtrdaz on March 07, 2007, 20:02:37
Is it possible to fit these without an expensive tool - tried a couple of ways with bolts and washers but they never seem to take properly.

Any ideas?

Cheers

Its a threaded insert crimped into thin metal using a special type of rivet gun a lot like this.....
