Recently replaced my EAS compressor. Stripped down the old one to find it is mechanically sound but the teflon "piston ring" is 'tatered. Not bad for 110K miles, I reckon the brushes and comm. are about a third used. The washer looks like about 50p's worth , does anyone know a source of a reasonably priced replacement ? No wonder the UK is known as Treasure Island !

Try taking it to your local Hydrulic supermarket, they're match it or make one to suit prob, get a batch done and flog them on to likewise sufferers and cover your costs

That's what they cost everywhere I've looked. Your lucky that the bore isn't scratched, I had a brand new pump (almost) from a scrapper and the bore was already damaged.
