Title: Waffle board measurements, please
Post by: SnakeLogic on March 09, 2007, 00:28:28
Hi all.  I was hoping someone could provide me with the measurements of the waffle boards he is now using and/or your idea of what "ideal" waffle board measurements would be.

I've found a supplier in China who can provide me with them, and that seems to make more sense than paying for shipping all the way from the UK.

Advantages/disadvantages over steel sand/bridging ladders?  Is the PDF (fiberglass composite material the waffles are made of) strong enough to double as a base for a stake ground anchor?

Mine are different sizes, they are made from offcuts anyway.

I'd say about 25mm shorter than the space you have to store them in and a minimum of 300mm accross.
The 38 mm stuff is not strong enough to use as a ramp amd I wouldn't suggest the ground anchor thingy either as you can't predict it's tensile stregth.
