Post by: Budgie on March 11, 2007, 17:04:38: At that sort of price then you're really limited to the cheap Chinese made Champion (http://www.winchsolutions.co.uk/winches_newspecheet15.htm) or GEW/KEW winches if you're looking for a new one and even these are Ã‚Â£323 + carrage.
PG Winches (http://www.winchrepairs.co.uk/mambo/index.php?option=com_phpshop&page=shop.browse&category_id=14&Itemid=1) has a recon Warn XD9000i for Ã‚Â£350 but I'm not sure if that's + vat or not.

The only other place to look is on Ebay to see what's on there really but even the ones on there aren't any cheaper than the Champion TBH.

So if you want a bit more of a choice then why not wait a while until you have more of a budget available?

Post by: bullfrog on March 19, 2007, 23:49:08: I had a winch submerged in a barrel for a week and the motor etc stayed dry. Unless anyone has personal experience of my products or any I sell then please keep any comments to PMs :roll:
Oh and the remote is splash proof only. :wink:
