Well, very, i left home this morning, to drive from Dorset, to Nottingham to meet a guy in the M1 services to exchange a set of wheels, i drove for 4 hrs just to get there, and guess what, the knob has only gone and put them on ebay with the wrong bloody size wheel listed.....just got home, £50 worse off due to diesel....

And 10hrs sat in a car!!!



ARGH!!!!!!

well matey, been there, done that, and i should have got a %^&($y t-shirt for doing it. :evil:  :evil:

its very annoying...

i found a new way of collecting wheels, DHL for set of 4 next day £40, paid the bloke by postal order.

We got done similar like that before, they should state more accuratly and also know what there selling  :x

Item no 330096793825  was the original listing, he has at least had the decency to withdraw that item, and relist it with the correct details, although the tyres are practically bald...... no way there's 10-12mm of tread anywhere!!! GIT!

Well, he did at least meet me at the services on the M1, can you believe he then asked me if i would cover HIS diesel costs as he didn't have to drive to meet me..... it was HIS bloody cock-up [Edited]......

All he could say was... well??? your tyres will still fit won't they?? yeh, but i want 8inch rims, not bloody 7's.... thats why i drove for four hrs..... to55er....

I had the same problem with a set of 16inch rims which turned out to be 15's :roll: However they only cost me £10 and I cleaned them up and sold them on to fudge, managed to recover my costs.

I dont think i'd be tempted to buy anything off someone who writes an auction description like that.

He has no punctuation in the whole thing, he cant spell and it just doesnt make sense!

Well, i know that now.... i did re-read the advert on the way home and think i sould have known better.....

I should have asked him to photograph the casting on the inside of the rims where the sizes are.....

Oh well.. live and learn eh!!
